It has been very long since i have posted, lols. I don't know what to right actually, but recently things have been ok. I love the book "the pursuit of the Heart of God" by Rev Abel Thomas. He is very like... straightforward when he tells us to live for God. Esp the Consecrating part. I haven't finished it yet but i'm going to! yea!!

I LOVE THE SONG HOSANNA BY PAUL BALOCHE!! I never knew that we were playing songs that he wrote or sang. lols its a cool and nice song and the meaning behind it too!! I'm now practising the song hahas!! I'm learning the Hillsong's Hosanna the acoustic version from Guitarpraise.blogspot.com it's a really good website for those who aspire to play for God or just want to play Christian songs! haha go check it out!!

I wanna go back to youth

Man i wanna go back to youth. But i guess i have to work hard first. Hope to see the guys soon. I hope that i will get touched even more powerfully during main service. Will be going to church only once a week for now... But i know God can still move powerfully. Hopefully i do well for exams and in june or even May i can go back for youth and cell group. XD

God first! YAY! Actually I haven't been putting in much effort into school, but it's gonna change. Maybe instead of thinking of work as boring. I should take it as a chance to glorify God!! My friends then will think that hey, this guy goes to church and also does well. My first term i had 2 As and 3 Cs, I dono how i managed to skip the Bs and go all the way to Cs. But anyway its gonna be different. I will be BACK IN CELL!!!!

Glorifying God can be in many ways. Not only by sharing the Gospel or church related things. It can also be for secular things like studies or maybe discipline in your CCA or class. I'm gonna learn!!! XD cya!! going to eat then leave for youth service!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!

God has really blessed me so much, Slowly learning to change everything i do so that i can give God everything that i have. God is so good, I really like what pastor Nicky said," When things look bad, God always looks good!" haha just this alone encourages me lots of times, over and over again. XD with such a good God, why not live for Him?XD

God always loves us, He is always ready to help us, that's why we shouldn't give Him our leftover time. XD It doesn't matter how long, just make sure that it's not 2nd best. XD

Ignite was GREAT!! Not only did i learn many new christian songs, i view my school differently now, i'm learning to love my schoolmates, but i need to learn faster. Things didn't turn out very good again today. I got a maths test today and i forgot about it. So i really think i will not do well. aw man... But i know i will change. I wanna make effort to change! So i can show my teachers and friends that a christian can excel in everything good in school.

At the Ignite conference, I met a many friends from my school. (actually only 5 or 4) But it's enough to start something! XD Anyway 3 of the friends that i met are all from Heart of God church and all in the same class, all sec 3 also. Then there is this other friend in sec 4. Recently he told me he just shared the Gospel with one of his friends, which is great! I guess i must get going too, he really encouraged me, I can do it too! The prayer group i'm in hasn't started meeting yet.. We should start meeting up, I hope we can all meet on a day we are all free. Well i think that's it. I don't really post so much now, maybe cos got stuff to do. But i know GOD IS WITH US!!!!

YAY! Ignite coming!! And my teacher allowed me to leave band early to go for Ignite!! YAY!!

My exams coming... duno y so fast.. 28 jan start.. got to do some studying soon. God is really helping me in areas in my life i had trouble with, like chinese, but i'm still trying my best to be a good student(as in, trying not to talk so much in class). Things didn't turn out so well today. But i know my situation will change!! XD GOD IS WITH US!!!

I don't really want to say so much of the first day. cos nth really happened. my friends were flying from place to place on a zipline. the others were doing other rope activities. And when my friends came to a stop on the zipline we had to push a big trolley so that we could reach them and help them come down. but i didnt do the zipline cos i was 1 of the 4 ppl pushing the trolley. thats why nothing much happened.. after that we had food and all before we went to do more stuff. We had ICs assigned to the 8 groups. the ICs were sec 3, some were fierce, but some ICs in my group were SO SLACK AND GOOD!! One of them was my friend from primary school.

The second day was more fun. We had high ropes course in the morning, then kayaking in the afternoon. For the high ropes, well i guess there's a reason for its name... the ropes we were supposed to walk on were very high. lol. My first station was to climb up a pole just enough for you to stand up on top with ur 2 feet close together, once we got up we had to jump from that platform and catch a small little pole attached to 2 ropes which was hung in front of us. so we had to jump forward to get it. the hardest part was to get you balance when you are about to stand up on top. There were 4 stations in total, but i think this was the most enjoyable one after i did the 4. And for kayaking. It was normal i guess, but 2 of my friends in the same kayak capsized twice, poor guys, but one of them was just laughing in the water. lol.

For the third day. My favourite day.(partly cos it was the day that we could go home, which is today!! i just got home.. didn't go for church this week.... haiz.. but something amazing was about to happen. i never realised it would happen)Our activity was rock climbing, So we completed it quite fast and had lots of free time, then my friend came along and talked to me, a few friends were making fun of him, and like... it has been going on for a while. This particular friend was a catholic, so i started to talk to him and encourage him, also talking a bit about how God could help him, then i was using another friend as an example while i was talking and i didn't know he was a christian, so i said to the friend i was talking to," look at him, he isn't even a christian and he behaves so well, doesn't even scold vulgarities." Then suddenly he said." I am!" After that i realised that i forgot cos he told me before... So after that i started to talk to my christian friend about God a bit. Then i asked if he wanted to impact our school, because if our friends didn't get saved, they wouldn't be going to Heaven. He nodded his head, he really is a quiet guy, doesn't talk much, i have much to learn from him. Then i asked him if he wanted to start a prayer group in school. Then he agreed!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!! GOD IS SO GREAT!!!!!!!! And the thing is that, I didn't even know this would happen! I was bored of the camp and then God just opened a door for me. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!! IT WAS ALL GOD!! PRAISE GOD!! I hope that you guys are encouraged by this. To always trust God. God is as real now as He was in the bible, and will always be for the years ahead! Just believe in God, He is watching over us, God will open doors for you! Let's go IMPACT OUR SCHOOL!! HE CAN work WONDERS in YOUR LIFE, and will ALWAYS BE WITH US!!!

YAY WATCH NIGHT IS LATER ON!! 9PM TO 12.30AM!!!!!!!!! I wonder what it will be like. Well i will find out soon. Well things have been good recently, my brother and I are getting along well.( just to correct my something i wrote 2 posts before, quarrelling is not a small thing. God wants us to love our family and everyone around us.) I know that God will continue to watch over us.

The sad thing is that i have 2 maths worksheets i have to do, they have quite a few pages though.... and very hard!! haiz y do we have to learn factorisation, but anyways I'm gonna try and do better in 2008, then i guess it would be easier to bring my friends to church after they see the change in my grades and my behaviour in school. I wasn't really a teacher's pet in 2007, but that's gonna change! I hope that you guys that read this will be encouraged to be a good student and LIVE FOR GOD!!!

As the new year approaches, I want to really really commit my life to God in 2008, this year end holiday really strengthened me Spiritually, and no matter what troubles come, I will make sure i behave like a good christian in everything i do, COS GOD IS BIGGER!!

I will try my best to do well in school too. I will make sure i do better than this year, also i will try to behave and get into the teacher's good books! XD cos i wanna excel in everything i do. I know that God will help me along the way, I'm gonna really reach out to my friends and see them get saved, they really need to know God. I know God will do great things in my life and my friends' lives as well in 2008.

Christmas is great! XD the service was good, and funny! The testimonies really helped me believe even more that God will help us when we ask of Him, and have FAITH!

Well during the praise and worship on tuesday, we were singing Open up the gates, and during the chorus it says Open up the gates and let the King of Glory in. I felt like, God i know i accepted You and believe You are watching over me, but there are some times where i feel i didn't let God in and take full control of my life? Instead of doing things God's way, i let the let the things of the devil influence me. And every sin is from the devil, even the smallest of sins are from the devil. Now i really feel that even the smallest things of my life,(okay.. I guess quarrelling is not a small issue. I thank God that it's gonna get better now) I will let God take control, and in What the world will never take, it says You say You want all of me. Would it be all of us if we didn't surrender EVERY little thing to God? I know that i will be able to do that cos I BELIEVE GOD IS WITH US!!!!!

YEA!! YOUTH CAMP IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!! CANT WAIT!! I know that after the camp we will be able to reach out to our friends in school easier. LOL. My title has nth to do with what im gonna write..... ok maybe a bit, i jus feel like posting today. CELL WAS GREAT!! HAHA!! Actually sometimes its good not to have games and just get into praise and worship. Actually i would say it's better. I just felt better today. i wanna stay worshipping God for a very very long time. I just find it great worshipping a great God. Now i worship God differently from last year or beginning of this year. I hope everyone will not just know but also BELIEVE STRONGLY AND ACKNOWLEDGE that we need GOD in our life. So that he can guide us and carry out his wonderful plan for our lives. God loves us. Well. i didn't play One Way so smoothly today. But it still had a bit of One Way sounds. haha But Thank God it wasn't so bad. The other songs were okay. only have a problem with barring. XD

Thank God for cell today. It opened my eyes even more to what plan God has for my life. I shouldn't let other things distract me. Well lately i have been watching a jap anime. It's kinda interesting. The storyline is good, but to me it's very distracting. It affects my spiritual life. Everytime i close my eyes and talk to God. I think of the show cos i wanna know what happens next. I can't talk to God properly that way. And i made up my mind not to watch it so much anymore. One thing that really spoke to me today was idolatry, idolatry is not just worshiping other gods. You commit idolatry when something in your life becomes number one instead of Jesus Christ our God. NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN GOD!! But don't get the wrong idea. I'm not asking you to stop watching every single show that you like, I'm doing this because i think it's best for me. Just don't drift away from God!! Cos HE LOVES US AND WE SHOULD LOVE HIM BACK!!

The last session of mentoring was really helpful. I learnt a lot from it. Especially now i found out that demons can do so many things to disturb and affect our lives. But as long as we don't let down our wall of our Will! the demons can't do anything. God has set us free from our sinful past. So we can remember our past, but without any guilt. That's the great thing about our God! His love never runs out!! Absolutely unbreakable and can never be compared to because it's so great!!

Well usually i start my posts with what i did today and normal stuff. but today i like to start it differently.

God's love, we sing songs of His love, but do we pay attention to the lyrics, is it from our hearts? is it just lip service? are we just paying attention to the guitar lines? When we say God loves us, we MUST love Him back right? We know very well we are not worthy of being redeemed by Jesus, but God gave us His Son, it's great right? We all know Jesus died on the cross 2000+ years ago, we know how much God has done for us in the past.(look back) we know all these. but HOW MUCH DOES IT MEAN TO US? God really opened my eyes today. I was in my parents' car going to eat dinner, I suddenly thought to myself, I know God loves us, i wanna repay God. All of us want to repay God, right? Well i have been trying to repay God, but i can't seem to do the smallest things to try and repay God. Yes i have tried bringing friends to church, but there are other things we try to do, like trying to STOP SINNING! no matter how hard we try, we still sin sometime or another, God loves us. yes. but how much do we love Him back? If we really really love Him, there is nothing we can't do for God. I believe that once we really love God and have faith in Him, we can go into our schools, start praying in your class for a revival not only for you friends but for your ENEMIES! God has blessed me in many ways, are we willing to sacrifice just a bit of our time and effort to do what He wants us to do?

Well always know that God loves us, even when we mess up EVERYTHING! Even Peter messed up, but in the end he loved God and glorified Him. God is willing to give us a chance to start over. no matter what kind of life you had before. If you were stuck in gangs, He can forgive you, even if it is hard to let go, God will provide a way for you to stand up under it. So don't ever think God has given up on you, cos HE LOVES US!!!

YAY 3 OF MY FRENS CAME TODAY!! HOPE THEY ENJOYED THEMSELVES! Darren, Jeremy and Terrence came for cell today! Hope they liked it! XD Well Today learnt a few things and well... Didnt have mentoring though. its on monday at 10! XD haha we gonna run 3.2 km!! hehe dono why though. lol

God has given me a few thoughts today though, if you are thinking, "God, You know what i'm going through, there is something that i really want but i know you can help me fill up that gap in me." or something likedat, like something is missing in ur life, well you can trust God to help you and always know that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life! but we are sinful and separated from God, so we can't experience God's love and plan for our life, but if we repent, we are forgiven! ISN'T THAT GREAT? I LOVE BEING A CHRISTIAN! We don't have to keep sad things to ourselves, we can share it with God and always know that he will forgive us if we really repent!

Don't ever forget God's love for us! Cos HE IS ALWAYS WITH US!!!!!!

Like the story about the woman who commited adultery(found on joshua's blog) God told her to go and not sin again,(John 8:1~11) I think its a really nice thing to post on any blog, you might just save someone from suffering in silence. But we must know our mistake and correct it, try our best not to do it again!! God is with us!! XD

YEA!!!
Service was so good today. Pastor Ross Tooley was one of the best evangelists i have ever seen! XD He was very fluent and I understood everything he said! (Well, CNL pastors are also very fluent and they are great too!XD) But it was good to have pastor Ross Tooley preach to us, expecially in his workshop, he shared testimonies after testimonies and all of us got inspired, what a great thing to happen after youth service yesterday! Pastor Adrian also told us that the in the olden days people told stories to increase their faith, we have to LOOK BACK! And see how much God has done for us last time and know that God will continue to keep us safe. When we are going through a tough time, we can expect God to be there for us, of course, we have to pray! And what i learnt today is that when we pray always know that God always talks to us, we just have to be sensitive to His Spirit, well, if u were married, and you always talk to your wife or husband but your spouse doesn't reply, you wouldn't like it right? So its the same with God, He ALWAYS talks to us!!!

Tomorrow have band again... Haiz have to hand in some report on why i have to leave band early for cell group so last minute... Well i guess i have to write it now. ALWAYS KNOW THAT GOD IS WITH US!!XD

Well today's cell group was at Ephraims house. It was very nice!!! But before cell i was in band. The overall senior didn't allow me to leave for cell unless i had a leave form.(which i did have but didn't have the 2 teacher's signatures on it) so he wouldn't let me go. I was tempted to run away like more than 3 times. but it would reflect badly on the reason why i wanted to go for cell. So i just waited and i knew God would make a way out for me. AND IT HAPPENED! My friend suggested that i go ask another senior which was also one of the high ranked seniors.(Shud have thought of that earlier.....) But anyway the other senior told me to ask the conductor. And to cut the long story short. THE CONDUCTOR LET ME GO!! YAY!! And when i went for cell, well i thought i was the oni one goin to be late. Then Amadea called me and said she also gonna be late cos of school event. Then when i reached toa payoh, i called Ephraim and asked how many ppl there already. Then he told me only Shawn, Luke and Jia min were there. which also means that Josh, Kenneth, Sean and Samuel were also late!! So many people late!!! But next time we won't be. =D we should try and be punctual.(Well.. I think I tried. But maybe not hard enough, I could have left earlier)

Well anyways Thank God for today's cell group! It was great! But a few people didn't come. Don't feel bad or anything, there's still next week!! And GOD IS WITH US!!!!!!!! XD

again.. nothing happened today. just went for band... tidy up some VERY VERY OLD scores which existed and in use since..... well... i dono. seems like stone-age.. lol there was this paper clip holding some scores together and the rust melted on the paper and solidified again for no reason.. lol, hard to take it out... really old!!! all the scores.. AND SO MANY SCORES!! We started arranging at 9.20 am and didnt finish after about 3 hours. left 1 more pile....... very boring... hehe. BUT Tomorrow cell!! YEA!! FINALLY CELL STARTING AGAIN!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! and Keefe said that he has high chances of coming to youth camp!! yay!!! tmr meeting joshua in the morning for breakfast at eunos. hehe.. CYA!! GOD IS WITH US!!!

did nothing today. Only happy about 1 thing.

Well today was boring... whole day at home. Well. the great thing was that. MY FREN CAME MY HOUSE!! AND I SPENT WHILE EXPLAINING THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING A GOOD CHRISTIAN!! (He is a christian btw) Well. He told me he will try.. i hope he does! Well. other than that. i did nothing.... play com, ps2, and now typing this... later gonna eat dinner... NOTHING TO DO!! and cell starting!! YEA!!! but i mus leave like at 4.30 from school!! i dono how im gonna do that. drum major sure wont allow.. but i will be praying!!! XD

Jus to add a bit. God really helped me speak to my friend today. I was a bit hesitant cos i did this before but not as long as i did today. and also, when you pray to God about something u need, EXPECT AN ANSWER!!! GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US!!

Well, what i have been going through lately is somewhat related to what pastor Jeanne Mayo spoke about during Synergize this year. She told us not to make small compromises, well, when we are struggling with sin, we must eliminate it immediately before it becomes even worse. Even if that thing is as simple as judging something or someone. God made me realise it. When we watch a show or a movie, some of us would like to comment on it without even thinking that what we are saying might be wrong or offensive. So please WATCH YOUR WORDS! You might be saying something you will really really really really regret.

Yea!!! You wouldn't believe this!! yesterday or the day before i was reading the 1 up book and it said that we should not be ashamed of God and be like Peter when he was filled with the Holy Spirit! He spoke boldly about Jesus everywhere! And what I read that night gave me courage to speak to my friends about the youth camp!! WOOHOO!! SO FAR INVITED 3 ALREADY!!! GOD IS GREAT RIGHT?? HAHA!! But not sure if all 3 can come.. I will know tomorrow!!

So once again i have to stress.. GOD'S WORD IS RELEVANT!!!! IT HELPS US WITH OUR LIVES!! So read the bible carefully!! See you!! I got to sleep soon.. And don't worry. God is watching over us wherever we go!! =D

Wa after youth service we went to ABC market to eat the new wow wow west stall that jus opened there. by the time i got in the bus to tanah merah mrt. it was 10pm.. reached home at about 11.15pm. wa very late. but i know God is with me all the way!! dont forget!!

And also, if you have any problems with anything in your life, just remember that God is faithful. He will heal you of any disease, solve your every problem. Just have faith and God will do the rest, but faith is nothing without ACTION! You have to take that step of faith and God will certainly help you. got to go ler. see you!!! wa today very scary sia... i was playing dumset in the band room. oni my section was there and we were slacking. so i played. then i didnt notice that my whole section was quiet except me. LOL!! then my fren called my name. i looked at him and he pointed behind me.. i looked behind me.... GOT TEACHER!!! AHHH!!! i was like.. oh man... this time im dead... but thank God!! he didnt scold me.. he jus asked us to be more focused! lol!

hmmm.. im bored.. lol... no more exams.. not much school stuff.. lots of band.. zzzzzzzzzz... Haiya.. band waste so much time... I know i'm posting a lot on band.. i'm going on and on.. whining. but cant help it. its crazy... so much band.. haiz.. take up so much time, then cant go drum lesson. Hopefully God will help me enjoy band to the fullest.

Anyway sometimes band is fun. Like the esplanade this year. Wa that was good. Especially the songs from abba, but now change conductor, so i think the songs also all change. So now a bit boring. haha. But in the beginning of the year i didnt like band at all. My seniors didn't treat me very well. But i guess its cos i dont listen to them sometimes... But God has helped me respect them more. God also says respect higher authorities. So that's what i'm doing now, and the seniors are treating me better now!! YEA!! Thank God. So who ever said God's Word is not relevant to us!?!? And oh ya!! BAND MAJOR JUS SAID NO BAND ON MONDAYS YET!! WOOHOO!! So thats 3 times a week!! but still a lot... LOL

So i encourage you guys who read this to do your daily devotions like God was watching you. Try to imagine that God was walking beside you in school, or at work, or anytime, He is always with You, and how would you live your life if you could really see Jesus watching your every move, knowing your every thought? You would try to be the best christian you could ever be! So always try to be a good christian. Even though its hard, the road to heaven is a thin and narrow one and a few find it. So never give up!! If you are sincere in your prayers, God will see your heart and answer your prayer at His own time, in His own way. NEVER BLAME GOD!! Don't forget, have faith!! Anything is possible to those who believe!! See you!! =D

went jamming at a music studio at outram park!! lol! Joshua, Wee Leong, Ben, Gordon, my bro and I went! we played a few christian songs then after that we started to anyhow play stuff!! lol joshua was making up the lyrics as he sang. lol!! so cool. hopefully we can go again!! but the studio very very small. and Ben's base got STATIC LIKE XIAO!! touch like something poking through ur finger likedat! lol so thats about it. cya XD

Are we walking in God? How do we look for Him?

Wa last night was good man.. Pastor Janet spoke about the book Songs of Songs. I really learned a lot of things. If you claim to know Jesus but you hate another person. You don't know Jesus at all. Jesus is love and how can you walk in love if you hate someone? Well, there are many many many many many many more things she spoke about that night, but if I had to type out everything she said, this would be the longest post in history. Well also i had to go home early so didnt catch all of it, and she spoke kind of fast too, but she is still a very powerful woman of God. She also said that we are Jesus' bride and we are veiled, and the veil is the flesh, we can't see God because of the things of the flesh. Sometimes God comes to us but we are too lazy to allow Him to come in. He knocks at our door, overflowing with annointing but we are inside sleeping. And when we wake up and LAZILY open the door, He is gone.. So I hope now that all of us are encouraged to persue God with our all, also love your neighbours and don't bear grudges. =D See you soon!

Well one thing is for sure. No matter how many times u sin against God. He will always forgive you if you confess ur sins to Him. But that doesnt mean that we can go on sinning and expect to be forgiven. never have this mindset. For me i know God has done great things in my life. He showed me His mercy. thats why we shud show mercy to others. Let your neighbour slap 2 sides of you cheek! Hehe. Well i hope this encourages you guys who read this. Lead a good life. Well, i realised that majority of the people in my class don't know Jesus. Well, hopefully God will give me more chances to change their lives. Maybe God placed me in this class so i can bring them to church. Sometimes many of them have a misconception of christianity. Even my history teacher has the wrong idea about christianity.

I really hope that God will give me chances to reach out to them. I need to spend more time praying too. I can still remember the chances God gave me to save my friends but failed to do so. I hope that the way i approach them will be somewhat softer than what i used to do. Hope u guys do the same.=D bye!
